As American students begin to explore and create Internet content in
the classroom, educators are asking not only what information is authoritative
in a research context, but often how simply to unearth it.
ROBERT SIEGEL, Host: There's a big push on right now to get U.S.
schools linked to the Internet. While there are great hopes about
the educational potential of the Internet, there is no hard evidence
that the benefits of on-line computer access outweigh the costs to
schools.
NPR's Chris Arnold and students in the San Francisco bay area
to find out what is useful and what is not about being hooked up to
the Net.
