Robert Osborne is the official biographer for the Academy Awards and he talks with Liane Hansen about Oscar's history and the role that publicists and advertising and marketing play in winning a statuette.

LIANE HANSEN, Host: Film buffs have been able to watch 31 days of Academy Award-winning movies this month on the Turner Classic Movie channel. The congenial host is veteran Hollywood reporter and official Oscar biographer Robert Osborne, who joins us from our New York studio. Hi, Robert.
