"Irish Times" correspondent Conor O'Clery discusses the current state
of peace in Northern Ireland and the recent visits by key players
involved in those peace talks to the United States.
LIANE HANSEN, Host: At the American-Ireland Fun Gala in Washington
last week, one voice was overheard to say, `We Irish believe in miracles,
miracles and divine intervention, because that's what it'll take.'
Conor O'Clery of the Irish Times newspaper was at the dinner, and
he is here on this Saint Patrick's Day.
So, Conor, do you think those working for peace in Northern Ireland
need to appeal to a higher authority?
