Now that it's almost a certainty that Bob Dole will be the Republican
candidate running against Bill Clinton, he will begin using his congressional
ability to show that he can get things done on Capitol Hill.
BOB EDWARDS, Host: This is Morning Edition; I'm Bob Edwards. With
Senator Bob Dole expected to wrap up the Republican nomination with
wins in tomorrow's and next week's primaries, attention now shifts
to the fall contest between Senator Dole and President Clinton, and
to the agenda on Capitol Hill.
