Half of all men over 65, some seven million, served in World War II.
Researchers say that most veterans led more successful lives than
those who didn't serve, but many still suffer from post-traumatic
stress.

LINDA WERTHEIMER, Host: And I'm Linda Wertheimer. At least half
of all American men who are over 65 today - that's seven million men
- served in the Second World War. As a group, experts say, World
War II veterans have fared well. They received more education than
those who didn't fight, have had better jobs, and made more money.
