During a previous segment, Neal Conan wondered what made family farmers
any different than, say, candle makers. Mark Steigerwald, whose family
has been making candles for 100 years, tells him.

we commemorate a musical work that made history a century ago, but,
first, when Neal Conan hosted this program two weeks ago, he conducted
an interview about the decline of family farms in the United States
and wondered aloud, `What makes family farmers different from linotype
