Scientists have been conducting research on the brain and have discovered the cerebellum may play a more critical role than previously thought of just coordinating eye-hand movements.

SCOTT SIMON, Host: For most people, picking up a cup of coffee from a table while having a conversation, or hosting a radio program, is a simple, even mindless, task.
