A public-school system in Mississippi is deciding whether to appeal
a federal judge's ruling that it violates the constitutional separation
of church and state by making prayer a regular part of the school
day
BOB EDWARDS, Host: Officials of a Mississippi school district say
they may appeal a decision on school prayer handed down Monday by
a federal judge. The judge ruled that the school system is violating
the constitutional separation of church and state by allowing students
to engage in Bible study and prayer.
