Washington, Tokyo and Seoul are donating emergency food assistance
tothe starving people of North Korea. All three countries call the
aid``humanitarian,'' but hope political gratitude will be the reward.
BOB EDWARDS, Host: Easing its tough stand and heeding U.N. appeal,
South Korea said today it's donating $3 million in emergency food
assistance to North Korea. Japan and the United States are expected
to announce their own contributions in the next few days.
