An oversight committee looking into human rights violations by the
CIA in Guatemala has finished 15 months of work. Tom Gjelten has a
summary of that report and discusses it with Scott Simon.
SCOTT SIMON, Host: This is Weekend Edition; I'm Scott Simon. Coming
up, a conversation with Hillary Rodham Clinton's first New Age mentor,
but first, for the past 15 months the Intelligence Oversight Board
has been reviewing the CIA's conduct in Guatemala. President Clinton
