A native Jordanian is finally going to become a U.S. citizen, and he
is grateful for the opportunities this country affords him. He is
thrilled that he will be able to vote in November's presidential election.

Around the nation today, Americans are marking this Fourth of
July with parades, picnics and family gatherings of all kinds. At
the South Mountain Community College in Phoenix, Arizona, the day
