The NBA's finest again threaten to turn the men's basketball competition
at the Olympics into a one-team tournament. The U.S. team is being
evaluated on the basis of its average margin of victory.
BOB EDWARDS, Host: The U.S. Olympic Men's Basketball Team won big
again last night with a 119-58 exhibition victory over an out-matched
Chinese Olympic team. The U.S. team includes the most gifted NBA
stars. In fact, leaving out Michael Jordan, who declined to participate
this time around, the team is made up of perhaps the best 12 basketball
players in the world.
