WASHINGTON -- United States Senator Sam Brownback today responded
to President
Clinton's tax increase proposals and his defense of the current tax
code.
"Americans pay more in taxes than they do on food, clothing and shelter
combined. I believe that we need to create a tax system that is flat,
fair
