WASHINGTON - The U.S. Postal Service announced today small businesses can experience the power of direct mail through a new software application from Microsoft.

"Direct Mail Manager" is the new wizard application which combines known software (Office '97), internet access and business partners, including the Postal Service, to put direct mail accessibility right on the desktop. As part of Microsoft's new Office '97, Small Business Edition Version 2.0, Direct Mail Manager gives small businesses desktop tools for creating, printing, mailing and managing direct mailings.
