LISA McREE, Host: The widely used diet drug Redux was pulled off the market last year for fear it caused heart problems. But a new study released yesterday showed no significant heart problems among Redux patients. Redux and drugs like it were always known to have some risk, but patients struggling with obesity were ready to take them anyway. In fact, patients who weren't even obese, who just wanted to lose 10 pounds, wanted to take them anyway.
