Before the OVERSIGHT SUBCOMMITTEE of the HOUSE WAYS AND MEANS COMMITTEE

I appreciate the opportunity to testify today on behalf of the Health
Insurance
Association of America (HIAA). It is always a privilege to appear
before
my former colleagues on the Ways and Means Committee. HIAA is the
nation's
most influential advocate for the private, market-based health care
system.
Its 250-plus member companies provide health, long-term care, and
disability-
income coverage to more than 65 million Americans.
