This is Chuck Grassley, farmer and senator from Iowa.
This week I heard testimony in the Senate from John Colaprete. He'
s a family
man, and restaurant owner from Virginia Beach. His life and that of
his
family has been turned upside down. They were the target of an out-
of-control
federal agency -- the Internal Revenue Service.
His story is stunning. John was at church one Sunday morning. It
was his
son's first communion. Suddenly, dozens of armed agents stormed his
two
restaurants, his home, and that of an employee. Four simultaneous
raids.
