ROBINS AIR FORCE BASE, Ga. (AFNS) -- Members of the C-5 Aircraft Directorate
at Robins Air Force Base, Ga., are playing a key role in major improvements
to the Galaxy that will increase its mission readiness.
A team at the directorate has developed a program to modernize the
aircraft's
avionics systems and is putting the final touches to a request for
proposal
to make the program a reality.
Release of the request for proposal will open work on the program
to bids
from private entities.
