BOB EDWARDS, HOST: "John Carpenter's Vampires" opens in theaters tomorrow
and serves as a testament to the durability of the vampire genre.
Since silent movies, not a decade has gone by without a new Dracula
interpretation, but as times change so do the bloodsuckers.
Beth Accomando prepared this report on whether vampires can still
scare an audience.
