BOB EDWARDS, HOST: Francis Bacon has been called one of Britain's
most important modern painters and one of this century's most vile.
Bacon's portraits made people look like trapped animals in an eerie
light. In his personal life he was proud to be vulgar and violent
and stridently gay. Bacon's life story is being told in a controversial
British movie called "Love is the Devil." David D'Arcy reports.
