NOAH ADAMS, HOST: And I'm Noah Adams. The House Judiciary Committee will conduct a public hearing next week into the consequences of perjury and related crimes. Among the witnesses will be judges, military officers, and convicted perjurers.

They're expected to testify about their experiences as well as the effect of perjury on the judicial system. The committee is considering whether to recommend articles of impeachment against President Clinton. The president has admitted misleading the public about his relationship with Monica Lewinsky.
