KEVIN NEWMAN: Nine minutes after the hour. Today's "Healthy Woman,
" a revolutionary treatment to remove benign fibroid tumors from a
uterus without removing the uterus, that's an incredible advancement.
Joining us to talk about it and explain it is Dr. Daniel Javit of
Lenox Hill Hospital in New York and Dona van Raalte, who went through
this procedure this past June.
Good morning to you both. These are noncancerous tumors that are

s right. These are benign tumors of the uterus. They are very common.
