BLASTS CLINTON, DEMOCRATS FOR DEFENDING CURRENT SYSTEM

WASHINGTON, DC U.S. Representative Bob Barr (GA-7) today bailed legislation be cosponsored to eliminate the tax code on Dec. 31, 2002, as long as Congress passes a simplified replacement system. The bill includes an exemption for the social security payroll tax.
