WASHINGTON, July 24, 1998--Agriculture Secretary Dan Glickman
today
announced that nominations are now being requested for membership
on the
Lake Tahoe Basin Advisory Committee which will advise the Secretary
and
the Federal Interagency Partnership in the development of environmental
policies and programs for the Lake Tahoe Basin.
"The advisory committee will continue to broaden the collaboration
between the public and private sectors of the Lake Tahoe Basin. A
strong
partnership with all local, regional, state, and national interests
concerned
with the environmental and economic health of the Lake Tahoe Basin
