On a weekend that has much of the country either stunned, angry, or
embarrassed, the White House is still coming to terms with how to
respond to the Kenneth Starr report.
Today, the president's top advisers met at the White House and his
lawyers released an additional rebuttal to the independent counsel'
s report, adding specifics to the 73-page statement they had released
yesterday.
NPR's White House correspondent Mara Liasson reports on how the White
House is dealing with the situation that has thrown the Clinton presidency
into question.
