BOB EDWARDS, HOST: Seventy-five years ago today, Hanks Williams was
born in Mount Olive, Alabama. At 25, Williams was a country music
superstar. By the age of 29, he was dead, a victim of alcohol and
drug addiction.
Williams' short career brought him 40 Top-10 country heads and a body
