Work Incentive Improvement Act Gets Overwhelming Support from House

Subcommittee on Health and the Environment
Washington, DC - April 22, 1999 -- Assistant Majority Leader Rick
Lazio
(R-NY) today announced that the House Commerce Subcommittee on Health
and
the Environment had passed The Work Incentives Improvement Act with
a unanimous
voice vote.
The Work Incentives Improvement Act would create new options for Social
Security Disability Insurance and Social Security Insurance beneficiaries
to purchase the health care coverage they would otherwise be entitled
to
