GAO Findings Spur DOE Study
According to the U.S. General Accounting Office, one in
five
U.S. elementary and secondary
schools suffers from indoor air quality problems. As part
of its
Building Technology program, the
Department of Energy (DOE) has researched indoor air quality
problems and is releasing a report
that offers guidance to school boards, school administrators,
and local officials on how to address
this important health concern.
