DON DAHLER, Host: It seems like a well-kept secret -- life for black
Americans is better than it's ever been. Blacks are considerably
more optimistic about their future than whites. At the same time,
so many are reluctant to acknowledge some very real gains.
That's the message of the current "Newsweek" cover story, "The Good
News About Black America, and Why Many Blacks Aren't Celebrating."
Contributing editor Ellis Cose wrote this in-depth report, and he
