SENATORS FEINSTEIN, REID, BOXER AND BRYAN UNVEIL LAKE TAHOE RESTORATION ACT

San Francisco, CA - U.S. Senators Dianne Feinstein (D-CA), Harry Reid (D-NV), Barbara Boxer (D-CA) and Richard Bryan (D-NV) today announced new legislation to improve Lake Tahoe`s water quality and protect its forests. The following is Senator Feinstein`s statement on the legislation: "Next week I will introduce the Lake Tahoe Restoration Act. The bill will designate Federal lands in the Lake Tahoe Basin as a National Scenic Forest and Recreation Area, and authorize $300 million over ten years for environmental restoration projects to preserve the ...
