DOMENICI: SENATE PASSES WORK INCENTIVES IMPROVEMENT ACT

Bill Provides Expanded Health Care Coverage for Disabled Workers

WASHINGTON -- Senator Pete Domenici today joined an unanimous vote in the Senate in passing a provision to expand health insurance protections for disabled Americans eager to return to the job force.

Domenici cosponsored S. 331, the Work Incentives Improvement Act of 1999, which would prevent disabled Americans, returning to work, from losing their Social Security disability benefits.
