Senator Fights to Keep Network Signals Kerrey: Satellite TV Compromise to Benefit Almost 300,000 Nebraskans

WASHINGTON -- Almost 300,000 Nebraska satellite television viewers have received a Congressional extension which will keep their TV sets on and may ultimately restore their ability to view regionally televised football featuring the Nebraska Cornhuskers.

U.S. Senator Bob Kerrey made the announcement earlier today, following the unanimous consent of his colleagues to act upon a rural loan guarantee program by March 30 of next year.
