INHOFE SEES VINDICATION IN FIGHT TO BLOCK JUDGES

Despite Inability to Prevail

WASHINGTON-U.S. Sen. James M. Inhofe (R-Okla.) said today that he has no regrets about placing a ``hold`` on all Clinton judicial nominees in response to the White House violation of an agreement on recess appointments, despite Senate Majority Leader Trent Lott`s (R-Miss.) announced intention to overrule such a ``hold`` in selected cases.
