DEWINE/PRYCE CHILD ABUSE PREVENTION BILL SIGNED BY PRESIDENT CLINTON

U.S. Senator Mike DeWine (R-OH) traveled to the White House Friday morning to participate in a bill signing ceremony. President Clinton signed into law legislation introduced by DeWine and U.S. Representative Deborah Pryce (R-Perry Township) that would address the tragic and increasing problem of child abuse. The Child Abuse Prevention and Enforcement Act (CAPE) would provide increased resources for the investigation and enforcement of child abuse crimes, as well as for programs designed to prevent child abuse.
