SA: Youth jailed for armed robbery
ADELAIDE, June 28 AAP - A teenager involved in an armed robbery which resulted in the
murder of a cleaner was today sentenced to 20 months detention.
The youth, who cannot be named, had earlier pleaded guilty to armed robbery and had
a murder charge against him dropped.
Passing sentence in the South Australian Supreme Court, Justice Horton Williams said
the 17-year-old, who was just 15 at the time, acted as a look-out at a Holden Hill billiards
and pool hall in Adelaide's north-east in January last year.
