(Badger Herald) (U-WIRE) MADISON, Wis. -- The Alcohol Licensing Review Committee meeting to review Ron Dayne's application for a liquor license has been rescheduled again, further delaying the decision on the future of Dayne's proposed sports bar downtown.
However, according to Ald. Mike Verveer, District 4, who is a member of the ALRC, things are not looking good for Dayne and his chance of opening the business.
"This application is a mess, it is on very thin ice and I am not optimistic that this will be resolved for Dayne in the near future," Verveer said.
The ALRC meeting has been tentatively rescheduled for July 12, according to Larry Lichte, ...
