Ten: Hingis hurt by ban on mums from locker room
LONDON, June 30 AFP - Top seeded Swiss player Martina Hingis took a shot at the new
Wimbledon rule banning mothers from the women's locker room, asking where her mum and
coach Melanie Molitor can take a shower after training.
"I'm pretty disappointed abut this decision," said Hingis, who qualified for the fourth
round today with a 6-2 6-2 win over Croat Silvjia Talaja.
"The ladies' coaches can't go into the locker room - it hasn't been a problem for the
men," she added.
Coach or no coach on hand, the minor setback is unlikely to stop the Hingis quest for
a second Wimbledon title after her first ...
