Fire Guts 'Twin Peaks' Restaurant

NORTH BEND, Wash. (AP) -- A restaurant made famous in the quirky and macabre ``Twin Peaks'' TV series has met with a frightening disaster.

Fire gutted the rear third of the building Sunday. Damage was put at $250,000. Investigators found a back window broken out.

Kyle Twede said someone broke in, stole about $450 and set fire to his business.
