Air Jamaica clinches Eastern Caribbean deal.
Air Jamaica has announced an agreement with the governments of three Eastern Caribbean states that would allow the carrier to operate a direct service from New York into the Eastern Caribbean beginning February 1997.
The agreement, which is subject to US government approval because of the proposed use of a US gateway, was arrived at with the governments of Antigua, Barbados and St. Lucia.
In a news release issued by its New York public relations firm, Air Jamaica said its expanded service will feature a daily flight from New York's John F. Kennedy Airport to Barbados. The new service will operate via St. Lucia ...
