WHEN hotel general manager Encik Hadi Yusuf signed up the Dorsett
Regency Hotel Kuala Lumpur for a new high-speed Internet service, he was
convinced that the competitively-priced rate and instant connection would
mean big usage to the hotel's business travelers, and he was right.
Within days of its installation business, travelers started flocking
in - some from the most unlikely places.
Recalling one such incident, Hadi said, "Within two days of installing
the Internet service facility, a business traveler who was a guest of the
adjourning six-star Ritz Carlton, happened to browse into the four-star
