On May 11, the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the Drug Enforcement Administration announced the unsealing of a federal indictment charging the top leaders of the Arellano-Felix Organization, Ramon Eduardo Arellano-Felix and Benjamin Arellano-Felix, with various criminal offenses. In support of this announcement, the Department of State is pleased to reaffirm reward offers of up to $2 million for information leading to the arrest or conviction of Ramon Arellano-Felix and Benjamin Arellano- Felix. These reward offers were announced for Ramon in 1997 and his brother Benjamin in 1998.
