MARINE CORPS BASE QUANTICO (May 25) -- The Marine Corps Marathon
(MCM)
launches its second phase of the MCM Goodwill Tour 2000. Beginning
June
1, Marathon staff members will visit the Marine Corps bases on the
west
coast allowing some Marines a second opportunity to enter the race.
The Marathon staff will set up a booth in the lobby entrance
of the
Marine Corps Exchange (MCX). Anyone with Marine Corps Exchange privileges
will have the opportunity to fill out a raffle ticket to be placed
in the
lottery box. At the end of the day, staff members will draw the raffle
tickets allotted to that particular base. These chosen ticket-holders
