Sometimes I wonder if I am overly preoccupied with food, but the fact is that tasting can be an integral part of any touring experience.
I was moved to this thought while enjoying a rich cream cake at Katze Hanof, north of Safed on the road which passes the Biriya Forest. Katze Hanof is a coffee shop and gallery in a location of unrivaled beauty, with a view of the surrounding hillsides and forests.
