Qld: Helicopter rescue service back in the air on Friday

BRISBANE, July 26 AAP - A central Queensland helicopter rescue service expects to be
back in the air on Friday following this week's fatal crash that claimed the lives of
five people.

Capricorn Rescue Helicopter Service board member Rod Hockey said the state government
was lending the service a Squirrel rescue helicopter as an interim measure until a new
aircraft could be leased.

Five people, including a five year-old boy with croup, died early on Monday morning
when an emergency flight to take the sick child to hospital in Rockhampton ended when
the Bell Longranger helicopter crashed in heavy ...
