The US Olympic track and field trials began over the weekend in Sacramento,
California. Many regard this track meet as the toughest in the world.
Only the top three athletes in each event will compete in the Sydney
Olympic Games in September. One bad day can leave a medal contender
at home watching the Games on television. Nancy Greenleese reports.
