GOLF: Webb s chances slipping as Sorenstam and Kane take control

AYLMER, Canada, Aug 12 AAP - Australia's Karrie Webb lost her touch at the wrong time,
carding a hugely disappointing 76 to fall out of the running for her third major title
of the year in the du Maurier Classic here today.
Webb, aiming for an eighth win and a third major of an incredibly successful season,
was totally out of touch as she slumped to a four-over par round.
Webb had two birdies - at the long ninth and 14th - but also had six bogeys in one
of her most demoralising rounds of the year.
