SA: New $130 million wine bottle plant for Barossa Valley

ADELAIDE, Aug 16 AAP - Plans were announced today for a new $130 million bottle making
plant to serve wine makers in South Australia's Barossa Valley.

The plant, to be built by AMCOR Ltd at Gawler, in Adelaide's far north, is expected
to open in mid 2002 and will produce 200 million bottles per year.

It will create 200 new jobs and be worth $80 million per year in sales.
