Burundi: Blood, Tears, And Maybe Even Hope.

For those of us who may need to brush up on our geography, Burundi is a small country located in Central Africa, sandwiched between Tanzania on the East, Zaire on the West and Rwanda on the North.

It is a poor country whose main economy is dominated by agriculture. Most of the nation's gross national product remains within Burundi with a small portion exported such as coffee, tea, and leather. Industries include textiles, breweries, glassworks, sugar and tobacco processing and consumer chemicals.
