India Abroad Responds to an Attack.

A week after an India Abroad news article reporting an admission in print by News India-Times that it had falsified circulation figures. India Abroad came under attack in the same paper's Oct. 25 issue. Its story included details of a lawsuit India Abroad settled with the United States Postal Service almost a year ago.

"The News India-Times story was filled with errors and misrepresentations," said Gopal Raju, editor and publisher of India Abroad. "There is also considerable question as to why it was published now, since India Abroad had printed an article last February that included details of the settlement."
