FBI agents' credibility is shaken.
New information has placed doubts on the credibility of Timothy Turck, the FBI agent that testified about the 1994 shooting of two other FBI agents during a shootout at Broad Street and Hunting Park AVenue. Melvin Williams, 21, and Tremaine Jackson, 22, were accused of shooting the two agents and the pair were ultimately convicted and sentenced to lengthy jail terms.
The shooting occurred around noon on March 16, 1994 when a black Hyundai was stopped by FBI agents who had been tailing the car containing FBI informant Wayne Caldwell, Williams, Jackson, and Jermaine Lipscomb.
